Terms of Service

ChurchPress provides AI-assisted website creation, hosting, content management, publishing, and related tools for churches and ministry organizations.

By creating an account, using ChurchPress, or publishing a website through the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your account information reasonably current.

You retain ownership of the church information, text, images, logos, sermons, events, and other materials you provide to ChurchPress.

You grant ChurchPress permission to host, process, display, and adapt that content as needed to provide the service, including generating website drafts and published pages.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for any content you upload or publish.

ChurchPress uses AI systems to generate and edit website content. AI-generated output may contain mistakes, omissions, or wording that needs review.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publishing it publicly.

You may not use ChurchPress to publish unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or malicious content.

You may not attempt to interfere with the platform, bypass security or billing controls, or use the service in a way that harms other users or visitors.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe or another approved payment provider. Plan features and prices are shown before checkout.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel future renewals through the billing tools provided in the app.

The publishing subscription is $99 per month. If you cancel, your website remains published through the end of the paid billing period unless you choose to take it down immediately. Publishing then ends, while your dashboard and saved content remain available for reactivation.

Reactivation restores publishing eligibility and export access, but you must choose Publish before the website becomes public again.

Free access codes or promotional access may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.

While the publishing subscription is active, including through a canceled subscription's paid-through date, you can download a ZIP containing uploaded media, structured website text in JSON, and human-readable Markdown files.

Exports do not include form submissions, prayer requests, analytics, operational data, rendered HTML or CSS, ChurchPress software, or the ChurchPress design system.

Your church retains ownership of its domain. After publishing access ends, a domain still pointed to ChurchPress shows a generic unavailable page until you reactivate and publish again or change DNS with your domain provider.

We retain a canceled workspace and its content indefinitely for easy reactivation unless an owner requests permanent deletion. A confirmed permanent deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

We work to keep ChurchPress reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChurchPress is provided as-is and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ChurchPress in the three months before the claim.
